"The biggest rule with patterned trousers is to make sure you keep it simple on top". Maddy says to rock your trousers wear a plain top to tone down the outfit. She likes to pair her floral trousers with a bright coloured plain crop top and a denim jacket. "This keeps the focus on the trousers and ensures you dont look too crazy"

Another tip from Maddy is to pair these trousers with trainers, this creates a casual tone to the look. "Not only are you comfy but you also look trendy as hell"

The final tip is to choose a high waist pair of trousers. "I love anything high waisted, patterned trousers paired with a crop top always looks good"
